"Each morning I awake,
my best friend beside me,
his eyes are wide with love,
and my heart sores again.

As I go through my day,
expectations on me,
my friend is always near,
to soothe my troubled mind.

When nighttime descends on us,
and the world is through with me,
at last I can meditate,
and give loving thanks for him.

My friend is very special,
a truly amazing soul,
he's very soft and gentle,
for he's my cat, after all!"

By Denise Brixey

**I really hope that my precious one will get better, though I've a troubled mind he won't.
Still a little hope is present: miracles do happen, the question is: when....??

PS:
I've mentioned on January the 21th {===> HERE!!! To be exact <===} that the vet didn't find nothing and blabla... However: Guus is very ill, {still throws up...} and they can't find the reason why.

I also don't have money anymore to let the vet do more expensive tests...
Sad but true.

Okay... Prepare for a long story...

I will give your here some Livejournal Entry's I did, to give an update about my Guus!

Date = January 21 2008
Hell yeah, why not???

My dearest tomcat Guus is ill. 2 and 1/2 weeks ago he started to vomit, a couple of hours after eating. Nothing special, you think, normally it can be hairballs or food-poisoning but it isn't the case here. {{I must mention that Guus is a typical indoor-cat so it can't be eating bad foot received of or from a cat-hater.}}

Last Wednesday I visited the vet and he told me that something is probably irritating his stomach. He gave him an "anti-vomit" injection and I needed to do that also at home, twice. It didn't help.

{{Weird part is Guus act healthy, he is like he always is and don't show any symptoms of a cat who's ill. He eats [yep and throw up a couple of hours later], drop his poop [no diarrhoea] and drinks his water & have his usual "Guus-been-up-to's".}}

ANYWAY

Guus still throws up his food and this morning I called the vet again. I must drop Guus over tomorrow, with an empty stomach so that they can do some blood-tests. It means that my cat can suffer from different "things":

Virus- infection,

Stomach-ulcer,

Worms, however he never had them and I don't see any in his vomit either. When a cat have flees they are {one of} the cause for a cat getting worms and Guus don't have flees.

food-allergy,

Cancer...

Nice cause list, isn't it???

I really hope they will discover the reason why he has an "upset" stomach. It really drives me mad for not knowing what bothers him....Well his stomach that is. Guus isn't that old if that's what you're thinking: he is 7 years and 8 months 'young' knowing that a cat can get easily 18-20 years old!

Than my entry on :devart: ====> Deep Sleep

Last Entry on my Livejournal:
Date= April first, 2008
Guus is very ill and I can't give him the medical care he needs right now simple because I don't have the money for further research and such. Guilt has taken over my life and thoughts/feelings that I will kill my cat because I can't afford a vet visit anymore makes me depressed and the thought that I will never know what really is bothering Guus {perhaps it is something very simple and also very simply to solve with the right medicine but I will never know because I can't afford-a-vet-visit- anymore.... :(} It is sooo difficult and frustrated at the same time and the question Why me? is being thrown in the bin because the answer is very simple: I must have being in my previous life {when I translate it into a "Shirley MacLaine"-explanation} a huge-son-of-a-bitch, no doubt about that...

People can say that everyone gets what he/she can bear in his/her life, but my back isn't that strong anymore and I will knock-myself-down when faith have more {SHIT} happenings for me to happen in the future... Gladly I've no 6th sense otherwise I will already bein' knocked-down... That's one thing for sure.

*** He is still throws up a lot and it varies from day to day. He doesn't act ill at all and he also doesn't have diarrhea what also is a sign for a digestion-problem... It is all soo weird...

have you tried to change his food? mine did the same after milk and yogurt, AND fancy canned food... did the give him antibiotics for possible enterocolitis??? I am a dentist, but still a doctor; ulcer should be easier to detect, colitis also rather easily treatable.

aren't there any animals-protection organizations, or animal shelters? maybe they could provide free assistance? like I said, it might be a simple cause if there's no diarrhea... Take care. Guus:love:

That {change food} was the first thing I did. The vet described him RC Intestinal Feline but Guus didn't accept it either {vomit}. After refuse to eat a couple of days I gave him his favorite food {Kitekat meat} and he ate it and didn't vomit for almost 6 days. Than, all the certain, he started to throw up again. Than I contact last week a vet who is specialized in Homeopathy and she told me that he might have some stomach-issues {a gastritis} and told me that the medicine Gastro can help him. So I ordered some of those and hopefully they help. I must say that this vet own some good qualities/diploma's and a lot of other people with sick animals are very fond & positive about her. I still hiope that htese pills can help him!

tHank you soo much for your warm thoughts, my dear friend :iconnewglomp:!
